Neon light-up plastic objects for kids

Illuminated music sessions with Glo-Babies!

Glo-Babies runs sessions for babies and toddlers in South Warwickshire. The classes are just £5 and are the perfect excuse to get out of the house for an hour to enjoy a first class out there in the world with your new baby.

Locations include: Stratford-upon-Avon / Shottery (Shottery Memorial Hall); Warwick (Chase Meadow Community Centre); Shipston On Stour (The Hub); Alcester (Village Hall, Broom); Tiddington (Scouts Hut); Wellesbourne (Peter’s Church Centre); Ettington (Community Centre); Coventry (Village Halll, Baginton).

Founder Michelle has created a programme that uses music and lights to enhance development, social skills, learning and of course, fun! Taking place in the dark with light-up and neon objects, the motto of Glo-Babies is ‘together we glow and grow’.

We loved trying the session out this week at Ettington Community Centre. The class included a mix of babies and toddlers who both loved the songs and lights equally. The added bonus of bubble-play at the end led to me hearing my son say ‘bubbles’ for the first time ever, which was amazing!

It’s something I definitely would have taken him to as a baby, especially, as all the babies in the class were just mesmerised for the entire 30 minutes. And if you’re feeling anxious about going out there in the world of COVID, there were plenty of safety measures in place: mask-wearing for adults, the session leader had a visor, hand-sanitiser on offer, a small group-size and clean equipment that was separated into piles so you had your own individual things to handle.

Desprately trying to stop myself from going on Amazon and buying loads of light-up things (must resist!).
